Unlocks after Activity 1.9. Five code challenges, all driven by a brief.
Every challenge here takes something typed in and turns it into a number. That means int.Parse or double.Parse, deciding which one a value needs, and choosing where a decimal matters and where it does not.
The arithmetic is not the hard part. Picking the type is, and so is noticing when whole-number division has quietly thrown a fraction away.
Nobody lists the steps on any of these pages. You get a result somebody wants, and you write the requirements list first — input, calculate, output, and every decision you had to make yourself.
If that is unfamiliar, read it once here: How to Read a Brief, in Challenge Set 1.
Tip Calculator is one star, like Temperature — a single formula, no unit conversion baggage. Score Average has a trap in it that produces a believable wrong answer rather than an error. Fuel Calculator is optional and is the hardest of the five.
These are options, not a checklist. Pick whichever combination gets you to what the dropbox asks for — Temperature and Tip Calculator are both easier ways in than Score Average or Screen Time.
These feed the build drop after this block, which draws on the code challenges unlocked so far — the four required ones here, plus the one under Activity 1.8 and any you did not use earlier.
Fuel Calculator is not part of that count. It is extra credit, and skipping it is neither missing work nor a penalty.
The dropbox says how many. This page only says what is available.
